The perfect waterside wedding venue. The Royal Plymouth Corinthian Yacht Club was one of the first premises in Plymouth to be licensed for civil marriages and has proved a popular venue ever since. Its stunning waterside location offers fantastic views of Plymouth Sound that truly can scarcely be emulated anywhere else.

Treganna Castle, St Ives


Tregenna Castle Hotel is the perfect place for a fairytale wedding. The ivy covered castle stands in a magnificent 72 acre estate which provides far reaching sea views over St Ives, making it one of the most romantic places in Cornwall.

Tregenna Castle is licensed for weddings throughout the year which can be held in five different rooms, accommodating from two to 160 people. It is one of the few places able to offer the possibility of a true outdoor ceremony, as from May to September couples can marry under our beautiful Pavilion overlooking the Atlantic

From a Traditional wedding at a local medieval church to an informal civil ceremony on site, Lantallack is an unusual wedding venue and an idyllic place in which to create your perfect country wedding. You can get married in our unique historic 17th century Cart Barn or outside on the beautiful Wisteria Walk.

Lantallack allows you the freedom to create your own country wedding. The Lawn Terrace is perfect for a traditional Cornish wedding where you can have a beautiful clear-span marquee for up to 150 people. It is a stunning site with glorious views and the sun all day.

Mount Edgcumbe


Mount Edgcumbe House is one of the most beautiful venues the South West has to offer. With over 500 years of history, set in stunning grounds overlooking Plymouth Sound, this is the venue dreams are made of.

Standing in 865 acres of Britain’s most stunning landscape, Mount Edgcumbe boasts seven acres of formal gardens, 10 miles of coastline and more historic buildings and follies than you could want as background for your photographs.

The House has three licensed rooms for civil ceremonies, accommodating from two to 120 guests plus the outdoor option of the elegant Summer House overlooking the delightful Earls Garden. With two stunning venues on the park for your reception, you are spoilt for choice.

The historic Orangery overlooking the Italian Garden can seat up to 120 guests for a sumptuous reception before dancing the night away in this delightful setting.

The second option is combining the new with the old; a state of the art marquee nestled in the exclusive Earls Garden gives you the modern comfort of a reinforced glass structure with the private gardens for your guests to enjoy throughout the evening.

Pilgrim BM45

Weddings-Pilgrim-BM45Pilgrim’s deck makes a very memorable and certainly unusual wedding reception venue.

The ship’s well-equipped galley allows us to cater for 50 people alongside on deck with a delicious buffet or canapé reception. (or 16 seated in the comfortable salon). If you would prefer we can offer a reception as sea under sail (up to 10 guests to include the happy couple) or (weather permitting) an alfresco meal on deck !Pre wedding and post wedding events are becoming popular on board too.

Pilgrim BM45 is a traditional gaff-rigged Brixham sailing trawler, built in Brixham in 1895. She has been meticulously restored by a dedicated group of craftsmen and volunteers and is included in the National Register of Historic Ships. As well as making Pilgrim available as a unique entertainment venue, we specialise in classic sailing holidays and charters for groups, families, individual adventure seekers and corporate customers.
