What’s the area like?
You will be staying in the heart of twin fishing villages on the beautiful Rame Peninsula, known as Cornwall’s forgotten corner. Blue Monkey is situated seconds from the beach in a beautiful landscape of tidal creeks, sandy beaches and country parks.
A great way to explore the area is of course by sea! We provide two paddle boards and 2 kayaks for our wedding guests’ entertainment – an exciting way to ride, surf and tour local waters.

The Rame Peninsula is a great choice for a wedding. Surrounded by beautiful views of the coast, Polhawn Fort is one of many fabulous local wedding venues with its beautiful grounds and peaceful setting. Polhawn offers many different packages including alternative and beach ceremonies.
For a truly rustic feel, check out The Cowshed at Freathy Farmhouse. With a capacity of 80 guests, the Cowshed offers an intimate and relaxed style of wedding in a romantic setting between rolling hills and minutes from the coast.
Bordered on 3 sides by beaches and coastline, The Orangery offers a stunning seaside wedding package. A unique reception venue, the Orangery can accommodate up to 200 guests and allows you to create your own package, suitable to your budget.

A chef from the early age of 14, Daniel worked his way up through the kitchens gaining knowledge from all the chefs he worked with until he was ready to go solo and started ‘The Cornish Chef’, a private hire catering service that brings the restaurant to you!
